3. The principle of operation of the Hydraulic Couplings with Double Delay Champer

A fluid coupling with a delay filling feature is equipped with an additional chamber to reduce oil flow in the working circuit (Figure 1). The contact chambers are pressurized through adjusted nozzles, which can be set as required (Figure 2). The adjustment of the spray nozzles changes the time required for the oil in the chamber to reach the working circuit. Therefore, it increases or decreases the startup time for the controlled machine.
When all the oil has flowed from the chamber into the circuit, Hydraulic Couplings with Double Delay Champer reaches rated speed, transmitting the necessary torque with minimal slip (Figure 3).
