– The coupling consists of 2 “Magiê structure” hubs and a cushioning rubber insert.
– Reduces load on shafts, bearings, and pumps, extending component lifespan.

– Magnaloy’s close machining tolerances (TIR is 0.002″) ensure vibration-free operation and easy, precise alignment without the need for special tools.
– Magnaloy couplings are available with special features including interlocking holes, with steel’s quick abrasion resistance capability.
– Magnaloy Couplings come with various flexible insert options, allowing customizable design performance for multiple applications. All materials are fully insulated, as Magnaloy’s design eliminates all metal-to-metal contact.
– Note: Before tightening the screws, run the coupling and check for separation between shafts or wires. Recheck alignment and tighten screws.
– Magnaloy elastomer rings have the following designs:
+ Neoprene: black elastomer rings; hardness 80A (painted yellow), hardness 90A (painted silver). Working temperature: -34ºC to + 121ºC.
+ Nitrile (Buna N): blue elastomer rings; working temperature: -51ºC to + 121ºC.
+ Urethane: yellow elastomer rings; working temperature: -34ºC to + 66ºC.
+ Viton (Fluorocarbon): red elastomer rings; working temperature: -29ºC to + 177ºC.
+ Hytrel: blue elastomer rings; hardness 50D is close to plastic and less deformed; working temperature: -54ºC to + 149ºC.
