– The MAV 3009 provides a tight frictional connection for the shaft without requiring keyways, and there is no backlash between the hollow shaft and the device shaft. The shrink disc is mounted on the outer diameter of the hollow shaft and attached to the shaft.
– The shrink discs is suitable for converting torque, axial loads, and bending moments, either separately or simultaneously. Loads are converted through pressure and friction between the contact surfaces of the hollow shaft and the shaft. Under high-temperature conditions, the device generates high radial pressure on the hollow shaft and the shaft.
