– It’s a type of flexible coupling with a common design of 2 hubs and 1 cushion. The coupling consists of cast iron hubs and a set of high-resilience ‘H’ shaped blocks suitable for parallel, angular, and axial misalignments while absorbing torsional vibrations. N-Flex Coupling is suitable for “Pull-Out” pump applications where the impeller can be removed without affecting the motor and pump from the base frame.
– The damping rubber of the Rathi N-Flex coupling comes in two forms:
+ H-shaped – used for N-Flex type RN(B) and RNS(H) couplings.
+ Cross-shaped – used for N-Flex type RN(A) couplings.
It reduces vibration and noise resulting from severe torque oscillations. The operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +120°C.
