– Self-releasing cone, lubricated with MoS2 (μ = 0.05)
– Screws lubricated with MoS2 (μ = 0.10)
– Tolerance of the outer diameter: h8
– Surface finish of the shaft and center Ra <3.2 μm
– The three-part design of the shrink disc is suitable for converting torque, axial loads, and bending moments. Applied loads are converted through pressure and friction between the mating surfaces of the device shaft and the hollow shaft. The lubricated cone facilitates self-releasing and flexible operation.
– The MAV 2008 shrink discs provides tight frictional connection of shafts without backlash between the device shaft and the hollow shaft. It is suitable for converting torque and axial loads. At high temperatures, MAV 2008 generates high radial pressure on the hollow shaft and the shaft.
