– Light duty: Suitable for uniformly loaded or stable systems that never exceed the rated horsepower, with infrequent starts. Applications include agitators, blowers, conveyors, steamers, fans, generators, centrifugal pumps, and burners.
– Medium duty: Designed for systems with moderate inertia and occasional shocks, with maximum loads not exceeding 125% of the average horsepower rating and uneven loads.
