– The steel-encased gear wheel coupling, GEARex, is robustly designed with gears entirely encased in steel, featuring a very short shaft distance.
– The sleeves of the steel-encased gear coupling can be tightly fastened along the shaft direction using positioning screws or couplings. Adjusting the sleeve material and center allows for high torque transmission.

– Based on the famous crowned tooth gear principle, it avoids edge pressure along the shaft with angular and radial displacements. – To ensure regular lubrication and monitoring upon installation, there are two hydraulic connections opposite each other on each coupling jacket, thus four connections staggered 90° with the complete GEARex gear coupling.
– The interior space of the coupling is sealed with O-rings (NBR 70 ShA). The splines must be sealed to prevent lubricant from leaking out during assembly.
