2. Characteristics of the Rotex BTAN Flexible Jaw Couplings:
– The Rotex BTAN Flexible Jaw Couplings are manufactured by KTR/Germany
– Compact design
– Compliant with ATEX (EU Directive 2014/34/EU)

– Used in conveyor belts, power generators, industrial fans

– The Rotex BTAN coupling is a flexible coupling combined with a brake drum for external drum brakes with double jaws. The brake drum is positioned on the driven side. Note that for combinations with brake drums, high circumferential speeds may occur.
– Safety-relevant drive trains are preferably combined with steel hubs, while applications with moderate demands can be combined with GJL hubs.
– The KTR Rotex BTAN shaft coupling ensures torque transmission, vibration damping, and absorption of vibrations caused by uneven machine operation. The elastic elements deform under load and high speeds. Sufficient expansion space must be provided. All sizes of couplings have a maximum torsion angle of 5°.
