The Ringfeder Flexible Couplings TNS SDDL-5 has the ability to transmit torque through elastomeric damping. This damping element (rubber shock absorber) is made of Perbunan (Pb) or polyurethane (Vk). The elastomeric damping ring functions to reduce shock and torsional vibrations and can be immersed in oil. The shaft coupling helps balance angular, radial, and axial misalignments within defined limits.

– Flexible Couplings TNS SDDL-5 are manufactured by Ringfeder/Germany.
– Twist flexibility, compensating for angular, radial, and axial misalignment.
– Resilient material available in various hardness levels.
– Suitable for temperatures from -30°C to +100°C.
– Outer diameter up to 400 mm.
– Bore diameter up to a maximum of 160 mm.
– Torque up to TKN = 13,350 Nm / TKmax = 40,000 Nm.
– Speed up to n max = 7,250 rpm.
– The shaft coupling is designed in multiple parts with a long flange face shaft, and the claw rings are detachable. The coupling rings can be replaced by removing the clamping rings without moving the shaft.
– Ringfeder TNS SDDL-5 has a two-part structure of both coupling halves, allowing for the assembly and disassembly of the damping element at the center. Therefore, the rubber damping rings can be replaced without moving the engine machinery.
– Ringfeder TNS SDDL-5 is a flexible torsion coupling, with detachable hub components including bolts and damping rings. It allows for angular, radial, and axial misalignment within defined limits.
– Torque is transmitted through the resilient damping rings, which withstand pressure via synthetic rubber and are connected to form a circular resilient damping ring.
