2. Types of Shaft Couplings:
2.1. Flexible Couplings:

2.7. Disc Couplings:
Disc couplings utilize one or multiple discs bolted onto shafts, used for power transmission and relying on the flexibility of their thin metal discs to transmit torque and adjust angular misalignment. However, they are not very effective in adjusting parallel misalignment.
