The Twiflex MRB DS2002 Disc Brake Caliper is suitable for use with discs with thicknesses of 12.7mm or 25.4mm. The minimum disc diameter is 250mm, while for the MR2 model, it is 460mm. Typically, one or two pairs of calipers are used per disc, but the quantity may vary depending on the disc size. The brakes can be positioned at any angle around the periphery of the disc, but ideally, they should be installed horizontally (at the 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock positions). If the caliper mounting angle exceeds 10° from the horizontal plane or on vertical shaft applications, it must be installed with a balancing link.
